MISA Press Freedom Award - Deadline: August 12, 2008

The Media Institute of Southern Africa (MISA) Press Freedom Award is co-sponsored in conjunction with the Southern Africa Trust. The award, with a cash prize of US$2,500, is given to honour excellence in journalism, described as the upholding of ethics of the profession at all costs and the relentless pursuit of the truth behind the bare facts.
