The most important thing for me was to find out the wonderful work which was done by the New Tactics project team on systematizatizing the experiences of many human rights activists from all over the world. And now we, activists, possess a large field for further work on this information, on adapting tactics to our local conditions and on using them in our activities. Andrey, Russia

I am keen to begin a new tactics programme by firstly convening a small workshop in the next few weeks where we could look at the new tactics framework and the philosophical underpinnings of the project. You can imagine that with the hustle and bustle of daily work activity and the immense workload that people carry – it becomes necessary to change mindsets so that people can actually appreciate the benefits of recording new tactics in human rights. So I am thinking along the lines of getting a small working group of interested people/organisations together i.e those who do work in key areas of human rights such as childrens rights, equality rights including racism and xenophobia, land reform, corruption and maladministration, economic and social rights; gender rights, etc. Ashraf, South Africa

I delivered a presentation to my colleagues (14 people) on what I learned at from my exposure at this intenational symposium and shared the publications. Everyone appreciated the initiative of CVT and still they are benefiting from the publications.
