4) Details of your outreach and distribution plan (you must include at least two of the following elements to be considered).

 

•   Material Dissemination: Translation, printing and distribution of New Tactics tactical notebooks, workbook, and/or other tools to human rights organizations/networks in your country and/or region or sub-region to facilitate sharing, training in identifying and adapting new tactics. (Note: For a list of materials use this link: /AboutNewTactics/CurrentMaterials)

 

•   New Tactics Website Content Contribution: Development of New Tactics website content in cross-border languages (e.g., Russian, Spanish, Arabic, French, etc.) as well as an outreach component to ensure that human rights advocates and organizations are informed of the website and the available tools in the language(s) offered. (Link to New Tactics website: http://www.newtactics.org)

 

•    Media Dissemination: Local and regional outreach campaigns to encourage media broadcasting of relevant stories, thereby bringing New Tactics concepts, ideas and materials to a much broader public audience.

 

•   New Tactics Forums: (you may choose to do one or both of the following methods)

 

o       Face-to-face Forums or Workshops: Featuring regular discussions in local languages featuring New Tactics materials and local/regional successful tactics.

 

o       Virtual Forums: Featuring discussions in cross-border languages using on-line communication tools to discuss New Tactics thinking, materials and local/regional successful tactics to share with the broad human rights network. (NOTE: The selected project partners will be provided with training and opportunities to use website communication tools. In addition, the New Tactics project will soon be making these on-line communication tools available on our New Tactics website.)

 

  • New Tactics Tools: Use of tactical mapping or other project tools to design and manage collaborative campaigns to apply multiple tactics towards a single key rights-related campaign.

 

 Please note: For each area chosen from the above list indicate the following components:

 

a)      Indicate the intended language(s) to be used

 

b)      Description of intended audiences

 

c)       Estimated number of people/organizations who will be reached

 

d)      If translating materials, indicate the potential tools and/or resource with the approximate number of pages of New Tactics materials to be translated. (Note: For a list of materials use this link: /AboutNewTactics/CurrentMaterials)
