Full Group Introductions
Village Team Session
Participants went through a process whereby, based on thematic issues, they created 4 villages in which they will work together through the rest of the conference. They will
- attend which tactic and strategy building presentations
- work together during the Small Group Integration Sessions
- share documenting and reporting responsibilities
- collectively create a "tactical map" to present to the whole group on the final day of the workshop.

New Tactics Tools Orientation
This 4 hour rotation originally was scheduled to include brief presentation sessions and interactive sessionson using New Tactics tools such as: 
- New Tactics website, searchable tactic database and forum
- New Tactics e-learning tool
- Tactical mapping process
Extenuating circumstances (namely power outage resulting in phoneline disruptions) prevented an internet connection. Rotations affected were replaced by demonstrating conference’s internal web-based documentation system, and impromptu sharing of tactics by participants not scheduled for formal presentations.
