Rana Ghose is currently pursuing doctoral research at the Institute for Development Studies in Brighton, England. Born in Toronto 1960.  Raised in Osaka Japan as kid of Presbyterian career missionaries who served the Korean Christian Church in Japan for 40 years in such areas as youth and lay leadership development, international liaison, ecumenical and interfaith dialogue, rights advocacy and reconciliation ministry.   Username chosen in honour of now-gone father's favorite Bible verse, Micah 6:8.

In this notebook we learn about the dilemma-demonstration tactic that was used by a Canadian organization to convince the government to release information that the public had a right to see.  They put pressure on the government by creating a climactic moment that brought media attention onto the issue and embarrassed the government.
