New Tactics website wins "Dot Org Award"!

We are very excited and proud to announce that New Tactics in Human Rights won the “Think Global, Act Global” Minnesota Council of Nonprofits Dot.Org Award. The award was presented at the MCN’s Technology and Communications Conference on March 27, 2008. Kristin Antin (New Tactics On-line Community Builder) and Lucy Suits (CVT-New Tactics Information Architect) were there to accept the award on behalf of the New Tactics project. (See picture)

The New Tactics website was chosen as a recipient of this award because of its focus on interaction among its online community members, promoting collaboration, and networking among human rights practitioners around the world!

We want to take this wonderful opportunity to thank the amazing team of people that made the interactive website a reality and who continue to work to make the New Tactics website a great resource for human rights advocates around the world. It has been an incredible privilege to work with a great number of people including CVT-New Tactics staff, external consultants, experts and volunteers – an incredible number of people continue to provide their wealth of talents, time and resources to the on-going development and improvement of the website!
