New Tactics notebook – Engaging Key Stakeholders

This notebook looks at the organization CARE-Bangladesh and how they engaged key stakeholders in the fight against HIV/AIDS. While Bangladesh has a very low infection rate, their surrounding countries had high rates and they realized that they needed to prevent the virus from spreading.  They realized that transportation workers were extremely vulnerable and integrated an education and awareness campaign with the truck drivers union. The program was eventually passed onto the drivers and made their own. These education programs have expanded to include health care services and numerous other successes and benefits. Download this Tactical Notebook for free on our website.
