 <description>&lt;p&gt;I am consultant Psychiatrist working with torture victims since 1996. Initiated a center in New Delhi India in 2000 to treat and rehabilitate the torture victims. this was the first center in Delhi. We have organised several training programmes for different health professionals. We have conducted several surveys in the community regarding torture and domestic violence among women. we have created a manual for the professionals who are involved in the management of torture victims. This includes legal professionals, social workers, psychologists, nursing professionals, Doctors and psychiatrists. The center has been functioning regularly since 2000.&lt;/p&gt;
