Argentina
Translated a tactical notebook from Spanish into English.
Azerbaijan
Held a round-table discussion about the Symposium and translated Symposium materials.
El Salvador
Held workshops in three communities on using paraprofessionals to make the legal system more accessible.
France
Gave a presentation to human rights activists on the New Tactics project, the Symposium and future project goals. Resources included the project web site, tactics database and book, New Tactics in Human Rights: A Resource for Practitioners.
Georgia
Gave a presentation on Weaving New Tactics into Your World with a focus on topics that relate to discrimination and minorities. Distributed tactical notebooks.
India
Distributed New Tactics in Human Rights: A Resource for Practitioners and 27 tactical notebooks to libraries, colleges and other institutions.
Israel
Formed a group of 25 human rights leaders who will meet periodically to discuss new tactics. The following materials were translated into Hebrew to use at these meetings:
Kenya
Worked with law enforcement and legal officials to foster a climate of respect for human rights and influence public policy using New Tactics materials.
Kyrgyz Republic
Hosted an educational seminar for activists involved in monitoring international mining companies.

Held a workshop for human rights workers featuring a lecture on the CVT Liberia program, small group discussions to share tactics and the formation of a task force to monitor the local network.

Hosted a workshop enabling participants to explore New Tactics thinking.

Translated into Russian and distributed a tactical notebook. Met with local youth leaders about the New Tactics project.
Nagorno Karabakh
Hosted a roundtable to share tactics learned at the Symposium, such as forensics, non-violent action and historical sites. The following tactical notebooks were summarized and translated into Russian:
Nigeria
Held an interactive session to share tactics learned at five Symposium workshops. Applied tactical mapping to the problem of domestic abuse and widowhood. [more]

Held a capacity building workshop to aid journalists in developing creative tactics to address the issue of domestic violence.

Held a tactic exploration session to help Nigerian human rights activists become more productive.
Pakistan
Introduced the New Tactics project at a workshop and motivated civil society organizations to focus on new tactics in their movements.
Russia
Trained human rights workers in children’s rights and civil rights on tactical thinking.
