The goal of this module is to introduce students to the topic of torture through a variety of resources, as well as critical engagement. Students will gain insight into the global scope of torture and identify factors that contribute to the existence of torture. The lesson plan introduces students to a variety of tactics that have been used to fight torture and invites them to consider tactics that could be applied to this issue. This module also provides students with practical means to combat torture and introduces them to tactics  that are being used by NGOs across the globe.
