The goal of this module is to introduce students to the topic of sex trafficking through a variety of resources, as well as critical engagement. Students will gain insight into the global scope of sex trafficking, the obstacles facing individuals who have been trafficked, the variety of factors that influence an individuals ability or willingness to access help, and identify factors that contribute to the existence of sex trafficking. The lesson plan introduces students to a variety of tactics that have been used to fight sex trafficking and invites them to consider tactics that could be applied to this issue. This module also provides students with practical means to combat sex trafficking and introduces them to tactics that are being used by NGOs across the globe.
