I am a research psychologist with a particular interest in the application of psychological theory in the protection of human rights and the rehabilitation of survivors of severe human rights violations, particularly torture. Recently I have worked with InterNews, the International Research Exchange (IREX) and the Tactical Technologies Consortium on the development of trainers and curricula for security training with human rights defenders.
