Engi is the co-founder of the Egyptians Against Corruption (EAC).  She is also a founding member of Shayfeen.com, the Egyptian popular monitoring movement, and the president and founding member of the Afro Egyptian Human Rights Organization (AEHRO).  Engi holds an MSc from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
