Marie Caraj (Belgium) is an interpreter and expert in protection. She was currently the co-director of the Training and Research Unit of Protection International. She has collaborated with various international organisations around the world on issues of protection accompaniment, security and protection for HRD. She is a trainer, researcher and consultant. She is co-author of publications on hrd protection/security. She has special interest in the psychosocial impact of political violence and in the psychology of liberation.
