Misha Quill is a graduate student in cultural anthropology at the University of Iowa. She has a background in Communications and Women’s Studies. Misha has just completed her MA based on fieldwork she conducted in Ireland during the summer of 2008. Prior to coming to the University of Iowa, she worked at the Minneapolis-based Center for Victims of Torture and spent seven years as project manager for American RadioWorks, a national public radio documentary production team. Misha's current work is focused on migration, NGOs, human rights, citizenship, identity, gender and cultural change.
