Simeon Oriko is passionate about using digital technology to respond to real world challenges and opportunities and to effect social change. This shapes his vision and work in digital and innovation strategy.
This passion previously led him to establish and run The Kuyu project, a digital literacy initiative aimed at teaching African high school students the value of digital technology and the opportunities it accords them.
The Kuyu Project spinned off Jamlab, a community of people who co-create ideas through digital technology with a view to effect social change.
Simeon serves as the founder and Director of Jamlab.
