Pete Muller (b.1982) is a photographer and researcher based in Nairobi, Kenya. His work focuses on issues of conflict, post-colonial states and male gender construction. He has worked extensively in South Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Sierra Leone, Zimbabwe, Somalia, the Palestinian Territories and elsewhere. He is a contributing photohrapher to National Geographic Magazine, the New York Times, TIME Magazine and other outlets. He has received awards and recognition from World Press Photo, Pictures of the Year International, the Overseas Press Club, the World Photography Organization and others.
