Introduction: Omar Da'na, MENA Initiative Manager

We are so happy to introduce you to the newest member of our team – Omar Da’na! Omar will serve as the MENA Initiative Manager based in Amman, Jordan.

Omar brings to the position a strong interest in human rights and experience in program leadership in the Middle East and North Africa region.  Most recently, he worked as a program manager with the Palestine Program at the American Friends Service Committee- Quakers based in Jerusalem.  Previously, he worked for Oxfam as a program officer in Occupied Palestinian Territories and Pakistan, Right to Play as a Country monitoring and evaluation officer in the MENA region, Health Work Committees as a Program Officer, and Union of Agricultural Work Committees as a public relations and media officer in Ramallah.  Omar has an MA in peace and reconciliation studies from the Department of Politics and International relations - Coventry University- UK and BA in business administration from Bethlehem University in Palestine.
