Annie Sloman is an international development and community cultural development practioner who has been working in South East Asia and the Pacific for nearly 15 years. Her work, both practical and academic, spans mainstream international development (program design and management, monitoring & evaluation and organizational & capacity development) and the intersection of art and development with a particular focus on performance and visual arts for community development, advocacy and public education. Annie has worked for a range of organisations including UN agencies, government, international and local NGOs and art organisations. She is also a member of Indonesian art activist collective Taring Padi and has produced a number of festivals and art projects in Indonesia and Timor- Leste. She is currently based in Yogyakarta Indonesia.
