Aubrey Cox joined USIP as a program specialist for the Middle East and Africa Center in February 2014. Aubrey manages USIP’s Generation Change project. Generation Change is a youth-driven global network dedicated to fostering the next generation of innovators and leaders in youth communities around the world.
Cox has a wide range of experience in the international development field. Before joining USIP, she worked in a double-bottom line impact investing fund and a global health nonprofit organization. She spent over two years working and living abroad in developing countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East.
Cox holds a degree in international business and Spanish from the College of Charleston. Upon completing her studies, she moved to Lebanon to complete a fellowship with the Rene Moawad Foundation. With the Rene Moawad Foundation, Cox helped build leadership and civil society programs for public schools across Lebanon.
