She majored in Communication for Development in the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (Lima), where she also studied graphic design as a free-assisting student. After finishing her studies, she worked in the Department of Institutional Image at the University as a graphic designer. In 2005, she was in charge of the Department of Design and Corporate Image at the Jesuit University Antonio Ruiz de Montoya of Lima. In parallel, Camila have been involved in different human organizations (NGOs) and also have collaborated for private companies and universities. In 2008, she moved to Amsterdam to pursuit a graphic design MA at the Sandberg Instituut, post graduate programme of the Gerrit Rietveld Academy. Since then, she have focussed on design strategies for participatory processes mainly related to urban mobility, public space and new media. In 2010 Camila iniciated Todos somos dateros (We are all data providers), a participatory mechanism for sustainable urban mobility in Lima. She co-founded La Factura, a company for new media and participatory strategies. Camila’s interests include urban mobility, architecture, urban planning, culture, art and new media.
