Douglas Mathew MAWADRI is a Ugandan lawyer and human rights defender, and founder of Associates of Health Rights Limited (AHAR-Uganda), a mental health and well-being rights organization offering services to human rights defenders and vulnerable communities.

Douglas has provided extensive support services to victims of human rights violations. He has participated in several regional and international advocacy on Safety and Protection, human rights monitoring and documentation, and Well-being rights. His recent work focuses on advancing the mental health and well-being of human rights defenders, digital inclusion in the advancement of human rights, and peer-to-peer models for advancing human rights for all.
