Ellen Walker has been a human rights officer with the International Disability Alliance (IDA) since 2010. She works mainly in the Human Rights Council and on the UPR, and also with some other parts of the U.N.  Working for IDA, she works to advance the rights of persons with disabilities and to promote the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in relevant mechanisms.
