Gerard is a commercial and human rights lawyer who has worked with Defence for Children International for the last two years. The main focus of his work has been on the ill-treatment of Palestinian children in detention. During this time, he has been actively involved in the submission of two shadow reports to the UN Committee Against Torture and the UN Human Rights Committee under the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
