Marie Soueid serves as Policy Counsel for the Transitional Justice Initiative at the Center for Victims of Torture, focusing on the Middle East.  Her volunteer work includes serving as a Supervising Attorney with the International Refugee Assistance Project and she co-founded the IRAP chapter at the American University Washington College of Law, where she received her J.D. Previously, Marie was a journalist covering the United Nations and spent time studying abroad in Beirut.
