Jacqueline Nolley Echegaray is Mesoamerica Program Coordinator at Just Associates (JASS), a feminist organization working to build and strengthen the collective power of women. In this capacity, she oversees JASS’ efforts to foster and sustain women’s movements, support movement leaders, and carry out strategic actions in Mesoamerica and the United States. Immediately prior to joining JASS, Jackie promoted women’s rights and health, human rights in Guatemala, and equitable trade and development policy as a grantmaker at the Moriah Fund, a Washington, DC-based charitable foundation. Jackie began her career in human rights at the Center for Justice and International Law (CEJIL), the leading, regional human rights litigation and advocacy organization in the Americas. A native of Lima, Peru and Garland, Texas, Jackie earned her BA from Northwestern University in 2003.
