Visualizing Impact (VI) is a nonprofit organization that uses data, technology, design, and storytelling in human rights communication. Our team works remotely from Beirut, Amman, Ramallah, Dubai, and Toronto. We primarily focus on two themes: 1. human rights in the Middle East and North Africa and; 2. digital rights and freedom of expression online. In four years of work with VI, I've had the opportunity to work with a wide range of human rights organizations to strategize how visual and technological tools can support their advocacy goals. My background lies in the field of international development, with a particular focus on refugees and forced migration.
