Maureen James is Fundraising and Outreach Coordinator at the International Freedom of Expression Exchange (IFEX) where she has been mobilising funds to support implementation of IFEX programmes and projects since 2003. As strategic support to the IFEX network, recently she led research into the funding experiences of the IFEX membership – a global network of 90 organisations – as well as investigating trends in free expression funding with donors.
