Mona came to EJUSA with 10 years experience training, campaigning and organizing with Amnesty International on human rights issues in the USA and abroad. During her time at Amnesty International she assisted international coordination and implementation on campaigns such as the Beijing Olympics Torch Run, the Control Arms, and the Conflict Diamonds/Kimbereley campaigns. Her US work is focused on state policy change in the criminal justice system. All told she coordinated teams winning policy victories in seven different states, most recently the campaign to repeal the death penalty in Maryland.
