Nicole is a senior high school student in London, Ontario, Canada. She will be pursing post-secondary studies in Community Development next year at Brescia University College. She has been invovled in the London community in many ways, as a volunteer at church, a member of a local Youth in Philanthorpy committe, a steering committe member of a neighbourhood community conversations group, among other examples. Throughout her teen years Nicole has had the opportunity to travel to various places in Canada, such as Montreal, Quebec through an exchange program or Winnipeg, Manitoba for Community Foundations of Canda conference, and hopes to continue exploring Canada. 

One of Nicole's main invovlments has been with the London Youth Advisory Council (LYAC) as a Youth Councillor. The LYAC exists to ensure that youth voices are integrated into local public policy decisions. As a Youth Councillor, Nicole's role has been to share her voice on political issues, participate in community invovlement and facilitate conversations with other youth. This experience has fostered leadership, ambition and a passion for civic engagement in Nicole!
