Orsolya Bartha is a senior advisor on sustainable development and human rights, including gender-related issues, at the International Disability Alliance (IDA). Over the last few years, she has focused on advocating for the rights and inclusion of persons with disabilities with representatives of the UN system and UN Member States. Prior to IDA, Orsolya worked as a diplomat for the Permanent Mission of Hungary to the United Nations in New York and at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary as a senior legal advisor. Orsolya has over 15 years of experience working on human rights and humanitarian issues. She holds a juris doctor degree from University Eotvos Lorand in Budapest and a master’s degree in Human Rights and Democratization from the European Inter-University Centre. She has published several articles and co-edited a book on the law of international armed conflict.
