Puppet Underground is a puppeteers’ collective in DC whose members are committed to working for social justice and long-term sustainable change. They provide support for local social justice and grassroots organizing groups by offering workshops, shows, puppets, stilters, creative organizing strategies or anything else groups can think up for them to do.  They have worked with local and national grassroots organizing groups including Organizing Neighborhood Equity (ONE) DC, Empower DC, United Workers Association, Coal River Mountain Watch, CASA de Maryland and others. They have also worked internationally with groups in Mexico and Honduras on various activist art solidarity projects.
