Rubén Reyes Jirón: He lives and works in Nicaragua. He has a B.S in Psychology by Iowa State University (USA)  and a Master degree in violence and mental health by the Universidad Centroamericana (UCA) in Nicaragua. In Puntos de Encuentro he is member of the Capacity Building and Networking Team (LIDERARTE) and he has a great deal of experience as a trainer in a leadership training program for young people involving dialogue across differences in sex, gender, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, etc. He is also one of the founders of the Association of Men against Violence in Nicaragua and has many years of experience in gender work with men. As part of his work with Puntos de Encuentro, he is currently a member of the Coordinating Committee of the Masculinity Network, a coalition of organizations working in gender and masculinity.
