Academic background is Sociology/Anthropology. Areas of interest and involvement are nonviolence, justice and human rights. Have spent about 9 years in those areas as professional. Recent years are mostly the volunteer participation- mostly to promote nonviolence. This includes- translation and publication of the book 'A Handbook for Nonviolent Campaigns' in Nepali language. Recently, focused in establishing a base for Alterntatives to Violence Program (AVP) in Nepal.
