Why I believe the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) is our best tool for solving the world’s current challenges
On the 10th of December, 2023, we will mark the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). The UDHR is a transformational document that emerged from the devastation of World War II. The international community united in response to the atrocities committed by creating the United Nations. The United Nations Charter and the 30 articles of the UDHR emerged to establish the fundamental human rights to be universally protected.
